“The After Party” Rallies
The After Party Rallies are held once a year for each school. Guest rappers come perform, and guest speakers come share a word from God. We have music, free food, and share the Love of Christ with the students in a style they relate to.
“As I was preaching in the classroom of P-6 at Elk Grove High, a God-idea came to me. You’ve heard of black light rallies, homecoming rallies, sports rallies, but never a Jesus rally in a public high school. Especially in a district that was sued for the pledge of allegiance. December 14, 2009 was the day the public high school of Elk Grove gave us the black box theatre to hold our event. On that day, 200 students came; 75% of them accepted Jesus for the first time. What started off in a theatre has now grown to Jesus rallies being held in gymnasiums.”
– Brian Barcelona, Founder
“I remember I was backstage and I watched when the Holy Spirit just shifted the room. Hundreds of kids were crying – weeping. We had 450 students attend, and so many kids stayed after for prayer. It was definitely a day I will remember.”
– Bobbie Bray, former Laguna Creek High School student
“When Pastor Darwin [Benjamin] was telling his testimony, near the end, it was utterly silent. The silence was a reflection of the respect in the kids’ hearts for the presence of God. When it was time for the altar call, 90-95% of the students went forward, and they began throwing their drugs, condoms, gang bandanas, and knives into the garbage cans.”

City Fire Prayer Meetings: Calling Down Fire
Altars of PRAYER were destroyed and lay in ruins since 1963 when the atheist woman Madalyn Murray O’hair fought and won to get Prayer out of Schools.
A new breed has now risen up that is rebuilding the altars.
1 kings 18:32 rebuilding the altar of the lord then fire will come
THE ALTARS WILL COST YOU EVERYTHING
God had told Elijah to Confront and show himself to Ahab and that God will send rain.
This was a promise that if the Elijah’s would confront Ahab, the very thing that surrendered to Jezebel, he would send rain and rain was the answer to healing a dry land. Before Elijah ever called fire, he REBUILT the altar. Fire fell and the people got right with God. His presence fell and the people’s hearts will turn back to God.
“NO COST ONLY SACRIFICE.” L.E.
However, the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price, for I will not offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God which cost me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. (2 Samuel 24:24 NASB)
This will cost us everything…
It’s time a Generation arise that does not count the cost…
As we cry out for our land…Joel 2:17-18 (NASB)
The Lord becomes zealous for the land. For HIS land. It becomes His land only by us praying and crying out for it! The reason why campuses are not experiecing the Glory is because it is no longer His land. No one is crying out for the and He was purposely forced to leave in 1963. City fire is to raise a sound, a voice to shake the heaven’s and say, “God, these schools belong to You.”
Just as Elijah rebuilt the altar to call down fire, we must rebuild the altars of prayer before we can call down the fire of the Holy Spirit. The altars of prayer have already been built in these school campuses; they have just lain in ruins for the past 50 years. City Fire Prayer Meetings are about rebuilding the altars for fire. City Fire began one Friday night in January of 2011 in Laguna Creek High School’s theatre with 5 adults, 10 students, and an iPod. As the love, power, and glory of God began to fill the theatre, Friday after Friday numbers grew as believers of all denominations joined together for a few hours of worship and prayer. Each week God would encounter and begin to raise up a voice for the nation out of the teenagers on the school campuses. City Fire Prayer Meetings are open to anyone who wishes to cry out and seek the Kingdom of Heaven alongside us.
